Tallest to Shortest

Sophia was here for a very busy week in August

I'm liking this year better!

Yes! This september is 4000 times better than Sept. 04!
Things are looking very much more hopeful.
Sarah is in 100 Mile House, living with cliff's sister, Angela. and working for Mom at the shop, part time. Mom created a job for her in August which helped Sarah alot. We have the "old Sarah" back. Praise the Lord!

Her at home, Caleb and Micah have started high school! They are attending Kamloops Christian School and really enjoying it. They are in band, Caleb continuing on the Baratone (small Tuba) and Micah starting off on the Sax! (he did clarinet for previous 2 years). The boys are learning to ride the city bus and are really growing up! Caleb is taller than me now!
Cliff is unemployed as his mill finally succumbed to the failing wood industry. But we see it as an opportunity! He's looking into pursuing an Electrical Trade or whatever the Lord has planned for us! We recently sold our rental/half-duplex so financially we're okay--aren't we always amazed at how God has all these things worked out in His perfect timing!
We are also busy with AWANA again this year, but have a core group of returning helpers, so it's getting easier every year.
Well, that's the update for now, enjoy the pictures of our summer below!

AND PLEASE COMMENT "ANONYMOUSLY" SO I KNOW YOU VISITED!
Love you all, Claudette

Sophia was here for a visit in August

At our Church Family Camp. Cliff and his buddy, Tod won the Horse Shoe Tournament. Beating our friend from Salmon Arm, Hans, and his buddy, the Mayor of Salmon Arm!

A highlight of our summer was Cliff, I and the boys getting to AWANA Scholarship camp. It was great to all be together. Here, Micah is participating in Bible Quizzing on the Yellow team.

Caleb doing a skit

Micah (in the middle) walked the Labyrinth. He said when he went in he felt "very heavy" and when he walked out he felt the weight was off him. It was interesting to watch, I didn't have time to try it. It takes at least 1 hour. It's about communion with God, meditation, etc.

We are praying with Micah after he walked the labyrinth.

Micah enjoyed doing skits

I was the camp nurse, which apparently was a good thing! The only "real" injury is the ankle with the crutches!

Cliff was a Counsellor. He had a great time and hopefully can return next year!

From AWANA SCHOLARSHIP CAMP. (Micah is "spongebob". I'm in the front right (Cruella Deville in black and white).

Saw Sarah in Penticton and helped her move her "stuff" to Kamloops

Started out the summer with a trip to Penticton; enjoyed golfing and cruising down the canal on floatation devices! If you've never done that, I'd highly recommend it!
