Yep, a bang. That was my car creaming a minivan on the way home from work on Christmas Eve!! Not my fault (of course)! A young driver tried a U-Turn without looking. I'm sure he'll look everytime from now on. Fortunately, everthing was a slow speed, so no injuries.
We got home to enjoy Christmas with John and Sharon McNolty (Cliff's Uncle/Aunt), their daughters, Trista and Marissa. (You might remember Trista from our wedding--a young girl stomping on all the feet on the dance floor!) and Sharon's mother, Cathy Jones.
Unfortunately, Cathy didn't even get the chance to spend the night with us......she had a fall on my (stupidly placed) stairwell near our kitchen table and ended up with a fractured hip, spending Christmas in my lovely place of work, the Royal Inland Hospital!!!!
We actually, were all dumbfounded when Cathy got hurt and stopped, took time to pray, then got her to the hospital.
Cliff and I enjoyed a few hours of peace around midnight Christmas Eve. This will be the most memorable part of Christmas 2004 for me!
After that Christmas was relatively calm.
Sarah had to work Christmas day (chambermaid at one of the hotels at Sun Peaks) so I drove her up because we had a ton of snow that day.
As you'll see further down, Christmas dinner was a breeze for me---you just have to invite the right people for Christmas Dinner!!!
